Workshop Information
The International Workshop on Western Boundary Current-Subtropical Continental Shelf Interactions will be held May 22-24, 2023 in Savannah, Georgia, click here for more information. There are currently more than 70 accepted participants from 15 countries around the world. The invited speakers are Iain Suthers (University of New South Wales), Dr. Frederico Brandini (University of Sao Paulo), and Dana Savidge (Skidaway Institute of Oceanography).
All Workshop activities will take place at the DeSoto Hotel in Downtown Savannah. The Workshop will be conducted using a Gordon Conference format (morning and evening sessions with afternoons free) to better accommodate overseas attendees.
Hotel Information and Reservations
The Workshop has secured a block of rooms for meeting participants at the DeSoto Hotel at a rate of $208.27/night including taxes and fees. Rooms may be secured directly from the hotel. For participants who are receiving travel assistance, please do NOT make reservations through the hotel. Those rooms will be booked by the Workshop.
